Maine Elopement – 9 Things To Do During Your Acadia Stay

Acadia National Park in Maine is absolutely stunning, and a great location choice for an elopement here in New England. 2. Cadillac Mountain

Acadia Maine has tons of gorgeous places! But this is the first place you can watch the sunrise on the east coast! Unfortunately, they don’t allow ceremonies to take place on the Cadillac Mountain during sunrise or sunset. But it’s still gorgeous, and well worth it!

3. Otter Cliffs

A gorgeous location, and even a spot to consider for your ceremony.

4. Beehive hike

A thrilling Maine classic! Acadia has tons of hikes.

5. Whale Watching

Book a tour and see the gorgeous humpback whales right next to your boat!

6. Tidepools!

Checking out tidepools are probably one of my favorite childhood pastimes. Maine has great tidepool spots for finding little sea creatures like starfish and crabs!

7. Thunder Hole

A cool rock formation off the coast that funnels in water and makes a thunder noise

8. Jordan Pond

So gorgeous! This is also a favorites among the elopement spots!

9. Precipice trail hike

A tricky hike that involves metal rails on the side of the mountain used to make it to the top. Seriously, a very unique hike.
